Independent journalists gather in Tehran

Dimitri Lascaris reports from Tehran, where he’ll participate during the coming week in the Sobh Media Festival. The Sobh Media Festival highlights the work of alternative media from around the wolrd – particularly those media platforms that focus on international relations and geopolitics. As Lascaris explains while walking through a national park in northern Tehran, the Iranian government is locked in tense negotiations with a duplicitous and imperialistic Trump administration. Despite the enormous stakes in these negotiations, Iranians continue to go about their daily business.
