The Campaign Against Sanctions and Military and Imperial Interventions (CASMII) strongly condemns Israel’s illegal and unprovoked attack on Iran on June 13, 2025—launched during active Iran-U.S. nuclear talks—and the subsequent illegal U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites on June 21.
These international crimes by two nuclear armed states against a non-nuclear state, justified by false claims of a nuclear threat (debunked by U.S. intelligence and the International Atomic Energy Agency), expose Western hypocrisy and violate international law as well as the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
These illegal and unprovoked acts of aggression follow over 20 months of systematic US/Israeli genocide in Palestine, and clearly constitute what the Nuremberg Tribunal called the “supreme international crime”.
Western media, complicit in war propaganda, echo the lies that fuelled the Iraq invasion.
We vow to resist this war of aggression through all available means including protests, legal action, and global mobilization until this criminal assault is defeated. We urge all anti-war groups and peace movements across the globe to stand with Iran and Iranian people.
